Brandi McDowell – Project Manager

What is the most exciting thing about working in this business? Construction is one of the few industries in which you can start with dirt and over a period build a functioning structure that services the needs of the public. The opportunity to help “Build Dallas” for future generations is such an exhilarating feeling. Whether on a drive to a destination or a random Sunday drive through the city, the sense of pride one feels from seeing a structure you helped build never fades away.

What is your philosophy about giving back to the community? “Give to the community that gave to you!” Being from Oak Cliff, my family and I benefited from many community service initiatives that have assisted me on my journey. It’s only right and fair that I do my part for the next generation. The city of Dallas and the people of Dallas are only renewed by pouring back what we received from it, love, support, and opportunity.

Name a technology innovation that has made an impact in construction or an area where there are opportunities for innovation. BIM has been a great technological advancement in construction, as it allows us to plan our work better and foresee potential risk to the overall success of the project.

Tell us an awesome fact about yourself or the role you have in the company. I’ve written, directed and produced several theatre productions throughout DFW.
