The Crowther Group started off the year moving from our modest office space to new headquarters located in North Dallas. To gain even more momentum, we were named the 2018 DFW Minority Supplier Development Council (DFWMSDC) Minority Supplier of the Year.

As the recipient of this award, Thomas Crowther, our President/CEO was given a scholarship and the opportunity to learn and expand his knowledge, as a part of this year’s Growing the Minority Business to Scale (GMBS) program at  The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire. This program is designed to educate and grow minority businesses to the next level. Thomas was thrilled and grateful for this opportunity and took full advantage of everything the program had to offer. He has imparted the knowledge and experience he took from this opportunity to mentor and grow his team.

The Crowther Group has been very successful during the first half adding over 700,000 sq ft in construction in the  healthcare and retail sectors, with projects ranging from interior finish outs to ground-up construction not only in DFW but in the Houston Market as well.

We are excited to report that our second half of the year is off to a phenomenal start, as well as we are now licensed in Louisiana,  pursuing design build opportunities, signed agreements with 3 more fortune 500 brands and, we are getting a foot in the door on our 5 year strategic sector goal by being awarded our first K-12 Maintenance Operations and Construction (MOC.) program.

We hope to continue to align with more trusted brands and provide collaborative estimating and preconstruction services as we develop relationships and expand our reach into other commercial construction sectors. The key to doing this will be to continue to focus more internally on our people, strategy, and successful project execution  by implementing systems and processes while learning from our industry and client partners who have survived the test of time and continue to be experts in the industry.

We are on track to continue our positive trajectory well into 2020!
